As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical nursing services through assessment and establishment of treatment plans in consultation with the client. Every task you complete helps an older person to live as independently as possible in their own homes, and you get to see firsthand the difference you are making.
As a Registered nurse you will:
Conduct clinical and personal care duties, with a holistic approach to in-home patient care
Provide clinical judgement, creativity and sensitivity to develop care plans that are aligned to the client’s assessed needs
Monitor chronic and palliative conditions
Assess wounds and attend to dressings as per the care plan
Monitor and assist clients to use continents devices and change the IDC and SPC
Provide a high level of holistic care including social, emotional, spiritual support
Maintain up to date and accurate documentation relating to client assessment, treatment plan, goal-based care plans and any other information relation to client’s care and well-being

To be successful you will need:
Hold a current unrestricted AHPRA registration
Experience working in aged care, disability or community nursing is desired
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
An Australian Drivers Licence and access to your own reliable vehicle with insurance
National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (myHomecare can organise this at no cost to you)
