We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and committed Exercise Physiologist to join our amazing multidisciplinary team at myHomecare.  You will be servicing the Brisbane South area and based at our purpose-built health hub at Oxley, which consists of a spacious fully equipped gym, four large treatment/consult rooms and open reception area.

So, what does the role entail?

As an Exercise Physiologist you will:

  • Provide allied health and home therapy services for our clients based around the Brisbane South area – either in their home, at off-site group sessions or at the health hub in Oxley
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments
  • Develop, run and evaluate one on one or group-based programs that support clients to improve control of their own health and encourage integration into the community, e.g. water-based, gym-based, condition-based groups with emphasis on social inclusion and community access
  • Work with an experienced multidisciplinary team to support our community in their aging journey
  • Supervise and support Allied Health Assistants as required
  • Complete accurate reporting
  • Deliver excellent care for ageing Australians 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Formal Accredited Exercise Physiologist qualifications and a current ESSA Registration
  • Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001).
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • A current driver license, registration, and access to your own car with comprehensive car insurance.
